Who Do You Want to See in Hell?

Thursday, November 7, 2024

“Outside of Christ, final destruction is sure to everyone; no rank, possession, or character will be enough to save a single soul who has not believed in the Lord Jesus.” – C.H. Spurgeon

Who do you want to see go to hell? If your answer is anyone but Satan and his demons, then you need to do some deep soul searching.

While you’re doing that, please meditate on – and take to heart – the words of Charles Haddon Spurgeon, known as the “Prince of Preachers”.

“If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.”

“The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 (BSB)

- Rev. Dale M. Glading, President
