Bitcoin or Gold... YOU Decide!

“Do not change the old and tried for the new and false.” – C.H. Spurgeon
Would you rather invest in Bitcoin or gold?
As of 3:20 PM EST on Tuesday afternoon, Bitcoin was selling for $100,411.00 which was down from Monday’s close of $106,286.08. Bitcoin’s price has more than doubled since 2022 and over the past five years, it has increased by a whopping 577%. However, it also lost about half its value in 2024 before soaring to record highs this year.
Meanwhile, as of 3:30 PM EST on Tuesday, gold was trading at $3,943.80 per ounce, down $71.50 from its $4,015.30 opening. Still, gold is at or near all-time highs and has been a highly valued commodity – and a universally accepted method of payment – for centuries.
And so, the question for savvy investors is this: Do you want to take a chance with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that offer a high amount of risk/reward or do you want a safer option such as gold, silver, and other precious metals?
At my age, I prefer investment vehicles such as fixed-rate annuities that offer a guaranteed income. And yes, I have a few silver dollars and 1-ounce bars locked away for safe keeping. As for gold, I can only afford a few grams here or there.
However, when it comes to my salvation, I am not taking any chances whatsoever. I trusted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and Lord when I was in my late teens, and it was the smartest “investment” I’ve ever made. Because of that decision – and my subsequent attempts to serve Him to the best of my ability – I am building a heavenly portfolio that far exceeds my earthly one.
My friend, I’ll leave it up to you to decide how to invest your assets and earnings. But please don’t risk your eternal soul with anyone other than Jesus Christ. He has a proven track record and pays the very best dividends!
